Stamford T&F Club is an excellent program for all skill levels and ages.
Students will learn to perform a proper warm-up, partake in team building activities, engage in core exercises, and learn all about Track & Field. Students will be learning and running these Track and Field events: 100m,200m,400m,800m,Hurdles, 1mile,2mile,4x100m,4x400m,4x800m, javelin, shot put, and long jump.
All Sessions are lead by Zachary Wright, former Division 1 Track & Field athlete under Olympian and 20 yr. US Record holder in the 5,000m Mathew Centrowitz. Zachary is also a former coach at Manhattanville College and has coached over 10+ year as the Varsity Track & Field High School coach.

Youth Track Group ages 5 years old to 12 years old sessions will take place April/May and July/August and September/October
Middle School Track Group ages 12-15 years old sessions will take place April/May and July/August and
September/October
( The groups will be 1 large group together, with differentiated instruction, if there are less than 30 kids total, otherwise we will have two different groups).
Grades: K-5th
Our youngest runners will enjoy a 5 weekend two 1 hour session (one hour Sat and one hour Sun) in which they learn all about Track and Field. They will play games, run laps and get introduced to a variety of events like: long jump, hurdles, 100m, 400m, 800m, javelin, shot put, relays, and the last class will be a mini track meet in which they compete against their own times and distances to earn candy!

Grades: 6th - 9th
Our middle runners will enjoy a 5 weekend two 1 hour session (one hour Sat and one hour Sun) in which they learn more in depth track and field technique. and events. Hurdles, triple jump, javelin and longer distances (200m, more 800ms) get introduced to students in this age group. The last class will be a mini track meet.

Grades: 9-12th Team
Our oldest runner will enjoy training workouts that you will experience at the high school and college level. You will be focusing in on your 2-3 specific events and competing in a few meets in the NYC and New Haven area. All events listed above will be introduced and students will be able to compete in 2 events at each meet depending on coaches discretion.
